Here are a couple of my favourite lines from the novel I’m pitching, which is called ‘The Nation’s Servant’. Please accept it in lieu of a blogpost while I concentrate on getting an agent (fingers crossed).
‘She flicked through the folder of unmarked discs looking for clues. But before long she lost herself again in the romantic and ailing old buildings that were hidden behind overflowing wheelie bins and neon signs. And so the journey continued in quiet but for the rumble of the car and the intermittent scraps of urban noise.’
Thank you to everyone who reads, it means a lot. If you like, please always consider sharing. Shares are the key to making a living out of this strange old business called writing. OB x
