A houseplant is dying

Tell it why it needs to live…

That plant better not die on me. If the plant dies he’s won. If the plant dies then I all got was the broken fucking blender. Don’t! Die! It needs a drink. I need a drink. And I need a time machine so when we’re splitting up our stuff I can stand my ground and demand the records or the couch. In the absence of a time machine and a shot of decent whiskey a healthy plant will have to do. Please plant, I’m begging you. Live! I gave up an original Nevermind vinyl for you!

Brought to you by Odette Brady via 642 Things to Write About, a prompt book by the San Francisco Writer’s Grotto.
